What is Student Link

Student Link is a platform that hope to link students across Zimbabwe by connecting all services that are required by University Students. Founded in 2021, it was primarily motivated by how students were disconnected by the Covid-19 pandemic. Student link aims to create a tailor made platform where students can select which services matter to them most and which services do they always want to have easily accessible. This student centric approach makes Student Link the first of its kind.

Our initial initial service offering is going to be in Harare, Mutare and Chinhoyi with some services being used in University of Zimbabwe in Harare and Africa University in Mutare and Chinhoyi University. We plan to have reached all universities in Zimbabwe by the end of 2022.

We have partnered with ZUPCO to make student transportation easier for students to and from campus and we are also partnering with laundry service companies that will make it easier for students to free up some spare time so that they can concentrate their time and effort on the most important issues at hand. We are working on delivery services to students for students who want to purchase fast food or groceries when they don’t have free time and we are also talking to the top mobile network operators in Zimbabwe to get a specialized data bundle for students. We will have off residents listings on our website as well for various towns from January 2023.

We will be launching different campaigns in different universities to promote awareness of issues that are affecting students such as STI’s, depression and suicide, finance and how to prepare for life after university and we will try our best invite experts in different topics so that we can attract more engagement and interest.
